This first post is here to remind me of a project I want to uptake. The motivation behind this is the recognition that it isn't always easy to have the faith to beleive that the God we worship is really there. We can never truly be sure, and that nagging thought is always at the back of our minds. The problem is not that GOd isn't there but that we're not able to percieve that other realm- the spirit realm. We, as humans are so bound by our physical senses, it's difficult to believe that there's anything else beyond what we see. Wrong. People STILL choose to believe, but because they cannot tell the difference, they believe ecerything from lies to half-truths- all of which do not lead to a pleasant end.

But I believe that certain questions need to be answered, truth needs to be told. I believe that questions need to be asked, not so much because an answer is needed, but because the process of asking can lead us to a place where knowledge stops, and faith takes over. I believe that asking honest, God-searching questions will lead us to Him.

The Open Letters to God project is here for one reason: for you to hold nothing back and be honest to yourself, and to God, about your struggles of faith, of belief, of miracles, of power, of God's existence, of love, of the ransom of the cross, of heaven and hell, and of every single promise revealed in the Word. The project is set up for you to write an open letter about your struggles, so that anyone else who reads it might identify and pray with you. Perhaps a truth might be revealed, and it might encourage others on. So, please take the time to write an honest-to-goodness letter to God, and email them to me. I will put them up.
